国際学会の関係で発行が遅くなりました。すっかり冬の気候になりましたが、皆様お元気でお過ご
しでしょうか。
１１月には11/19-20にバンコクで国際学会のJCRENが行われました。チュラロンコン側と広島大学
側で共同主催、さらに、タイ側、日本側の他の大学にも共催をいただき、無事に終了することがで
きました。関係者の皆様にはこの場を借りて御礼申し上げます。
また、就職活動の季節となり、何人かのＯＢの方からはご連絡をいただいています。スタッフは出
張も多く、留守にしていることもありますが、ご容赦下さい。就活関連のご連絡は以下までお願い

修論の中間発表も終わりました。卒論の中間発表は研究室内で１２月末に行う予定です。
今回は、寄稿をM2の射場勇士様、D1のObie Farobie様からいただいています。
■ 寄稿（射場勇士様）
皆さんこんにちは。修士２年の射場勇士です。今年も残すところわずかとなり、M2、B4は研究の追
い込みに励んでいます。さらに、来年からG5棟の改修も予定されているという話もあり、改修工事
が始まると実験ができない状態になることが予想されるため、さらに研究への追い込みとなってい
ます。
私自身、修士論文提出を２月に控え、研究の遅れを取り戻すべく、日々研究に取り組んでおりま
す。そのため、最近ではなんとなく計画を立てて研究をするのではなく、始めに最終目標をしっか
りと定めてそれを達成するためには何をすべきか、またそれをいつまでに達成するのかしっかりと
計画立て、もし計画通りにいかないときにはそのたびに計画の修正と反省をして目標達成に精進す
るべきだったと反省する毎日です。社会人になったら、この反省を活かしていこうと思います。
■ 寄稿（Obie Farobie様）
Hello everyone, I am Obie Farobie from Indonesia. I have already been studying in
Hiroshima University since Spring 2011. Currently I am a Doctoral Student in my second
year in Thermal Engineering Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Matsumura. Since
I entered this laboratory, I have been gaining precious knowledge and experiences both
from study and from interaction with my friends who have many different backgrounds,
life experiences, personalities, and nationalities. Furthermore, for almost the past 2
years, I have learned a lot, not only academic study but also Japanese language and
culture. Although busy with everyday routine of lectures and research activities, I
still take my time exploring Japanese cultures. I always look forward for every new
season to come because I couldn't find it in my country. During spring I never miss to
watch sakura, summer is always enjoyable watching the superb firecracker's show
(Hanabi). When autumn comes, it is a great experience to enjoy the beautiful scenery
such as momiji tree, then comes winter with the cold air breeze and I never miss playing
ski. The most important thing that I learn from Japanese people is the meaning of
"Gambarimasu" to endure, to persevere, and to try the best in every occasion. This is
the principle of Japanese people's way of life, and in these two years, they taught me
how to apply it in daily life, especially in the laboratory works.
In our laboratory, we exchange information on our own countries and experiences
regarding our research and study. We also learn how to solve the problem independently
as well as teamwork. Everyone has experienced problems in his own research. However,
by working together, we can solve this problem. This is the most important value I
learned in this laboratory. I would like to thank my professor and my laboratory
colleagues for all the invaluable experiences.
